New Technologies in Laboratory Diagnosis
Abstract
This panel is designed to introduce the advanced and novel technologies in diagnosis of diseases to professors and students in the field of medical laboratory diagnosis.
Although most of these technologies have not yet been used routinely in medical laboratories, understanding these methods will help lab professionals to improve their own developmental and prospective plans.
In this panel which will be held by academic staffs of the school of Advanced Technologies in Medicine (Tehran University of Medical Science), topics including the use of biomarkers in diagnosis and treatment of addiction, neuronmarkers in Alzimer and Parkinson diseases and exosomal proteins in cancer diagnosis, will be covered.
We hope that the induction of new methods in the laboratory diagnosis can take important steps in transforming clinical laboratories.
